After a period of enforced rest and recovery that saw me at times quite listless and lethargic, I am now ready to see if I can still write. And for the most part I mean this in a physical sense. Over the past year or so it has become increasingly onerous or even impossible to sit down a pen a quick simple email, let alone weave my baroque-style labyrinthine sentences and thought scribblings.
A fresh look for the website and I was also very happy to see that all existing blog posts were still intact, without the jungle roots of the time past having overgrown them. So feel free to have a look around the site, test some links and let me know if something’s broken or not working properly.
The current menu headings will probably be the final ones, i.e. the scope of things, subjects to highlight and bugbears I feel passionate about enough to commit my remaining typing and cognitive capabilities in a sort of wrapping up my life’s work effort.
Sometimes people say to me: “You should write a book.” I have. I’ve written a number of poetry books – available from Lulu.com – and this site The Richard of Oz will need to suffice and live on online as my tell-all personal book. I hope you’ll enjoy it, whether you are new to the world of ROZ or one of my stalwart band of followers..
