Being more of a feline fan, I don’t always gravitate or even notice dogs adored by most. However, I recently became aware of a delightful combo of an ageing gentlemen who each day walks his equally elderly dog down the mainstreet in Randwick.

The dog, a beautiful old German shepherd, has those endearing loyal tired eyes and as he can’t walk very fast anymore, his master seemingly has a good reason to take it easy himself.

They certainly don’t look like they need to hurry for anything or anyone. It’s a joy to see them every single day, two inseparable old friends out and about.
