I remember when I was a mere lad my brother and I used to spend the summer holidays camping with our parents in Germany or Austria, both nations with an advanced acceptance of public or social nudity.
For some reason we’d often find ourselves camping alongside one of the many lakeside so-called FKK nudist campsites.
Being boys being boys, my brother and I would enjoy hours in the golden sunshine, swimming or paddling in our inflatable canoe whilst marvelling at the (usually) rather ancient flesh on display at the nearby liberated slice of Eden.
It was a happy time. When you are that age you tend to assume that life will probably always be this magical.
Carpe diem ad infinitum …
